Privacy

Preload collects only what it needs to send you the newsletter, and nothing else. This site sets no cookies and uses no audience measurement tool.

Data controller

Data collected

  • Your email address and chosen language.
  • Proof of your consent: date, sign-up page, accepted text, and a non-reversible hash of your IP address.
  • Delivery events for each issue (delivery, open, click, unsubscribe), linked to a hash of your address.

Purpose and legal basis

This data is used to send you Preload every week and to measure how it is read. Processing is based on your consent (article 6.1.a of the GDPR), given when you confirm your address through the link you receive. It is never sold, shared or used for any other purpose.

Retention

  • Unconfirmed sign-up request: 30 days.
  • Subscription: for as long as you stay subscribed.
  • After unsubscribing: 3 years, to prove your past consent and honour your unsubscription, then deleted.
  • Delivery events: 13 months. Beyond that, only anonymous totals per issue are kept.
  • Abuse protection counters (IP addresses and emails, as hashes): 30 days.

Service providers

  • Brevo (Paris): email delivery. Your data is hosted in the European Union.
  • ONETSOLUTIONS (France): hosting of the Preload server.
  • Cloudflare: site delivery and protection against attacks. Your IP address passes through its servers on each visit, under the EU and US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, object to its processing, or ask for its restriction and portability. Every issue contains a one-click unsubscribe link. For anything else, write to eroan@agencewebperformance.fr. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Cookies

No cookie is set on public pages. Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser (local storage) and never sent anywhere.
